There are over a million international students in the United States, and that’s not even counting all of the of scholars, teachers, and researchers....

These individuals all have some level of filing requirement. We are one of the only organizations that provides free tax services for nonresident (and resident!) individuals. Without our free assistance, these individuals may spend hundreds of dollars to get their tax returns prepared. There is a huge demand for these tax filing services and we need all the help we can get to fulfill this tremendous need.

We are recruiting volunteers for the 2024 tax season, and we’d love to have you be a part of our program!

We provide comprehensive training to teach you about nonresident and resident taxation, and prepare you to assist at our tax clinics. We ask that our volunteers participate in 8 tax clinics (each is 2.5 hours long). We are currently planning over 35 events for the upcoming filing season. With multiple dates, times, formats, and locations you will have many opportunities to put your new tax skills into practice.
